Marriage in Islam

vase filled red roses marraige in islam

In Islam fulfilling our obligations to marry is fulfilling half of our deen (religion).
Half is an extremely large amount of our deen to fulfill, Subhan Allah.  It is very important that we fully understand the rights spouses have over each other as well a the seriousness of the commitment that is made when we marry.  In life we go through a series of stages that cause many changes in our own lives a well as in our spouses and they also expereince the different stages and the many different changes.....  It is important to remember to stay patient with our spouses, steadfast in enjoining the good and forbidding the evil with our selves and family as well as staying commited with the ones whom we have made our private parts permisable for.   Marriage is a serious commitment and is not to be discarded by divorce because of qualms and being displeased with what Allah has ordained for you.
"All of you are shepards and each one is responsible for his flock." (Bukhari and Muslim)
Take great care of that which Allah has given to you to be responsible over and obey the one whom has authority over you in all permissable manners.  A married man is in charge of his family and he will be questioned about his government.  A married woman is in charge of protecting her husband in his abscence, the house as well as the children and she also will be questioned about her government.  A mother has most rights over her children however she is not to subject them to disobedience of Allah and/or her Husband as this is a manifest sin that is often not thought about....

If You are Thinking of Getting a Divorce.......
"Jihad (Islamic Holy War)is ordained for you (Muslims) though you dislike it, and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you, and that and that you like a thing which is bad for you.  Allah knows, but you do not know."  (Quran 2:216)
You should believe that all matters are in the Hand of Allah. Whoever believes in Him and submits himself to His decision he becomes successful in this life and in The Hereafter.
Allah tests His slaves on the strength of their religion and according to their position in His eyes. "When the Prophet (peace be upon him) was asked which people suffered the greatest affliction, he replied, "The prophets, then those who come next to them, then those who come next to them. A man is afflicted in keeping his religion. If he is firm in his religion his trial is severe, but if there is weakness in his religion it is made light for him, and it continues like that till he walks on the earth having no sin."
Be sure that which you miss, was not to hit you, and what hits you, was never to miss you.
Sincerely worship Allah in all conditions, always Praise Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and be patient. This is the case of a Muslim.
The Prophet said: "The case of a believer is wonderful; there is good for him in everything and this characteristic is exclusively for him alone. If he experiences some thing pleasant, he is grateful to Allah and that is good for him, and if he comes across some adversity, he is patient and submissive and that for is good for him." (Sahih Muslim)
Wait for a near happy ending from Almighty Allah. No doubt, relief is after grief and easiness is after hardship. The days are turns. There is no loss at all for one who enjoys good faith in his heart.  Surely, Allah will lead you to what is better for you with His Will.
